The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death started the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, attacking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the influential clan could help the group access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to head to the northern region in search of the traitor.
